Who am I?

My name is Alexander, I studied business administration with a focus on financial management and international business relations at Dresden University of Technology.

Why did I join IMPAQ?

I joined IMPAQ Germany in Frankfurt in 2009, right after having graduated from university and was offered a chance to join the project team of a large turnaround project at a securities trading division of a big private bank.

How is my experience?

My job at IMPAQ was my first experience in the consulting sector within the financial services industry and I am glad that I started with IMPAQ, because of the outstanding colleagues and mentoring that I received over the first years of my career.

Consulting is a people business and that is why IMPAQ was the right choice for me. I also like the "learning on the job" culture at IMPAQ, whenever I felt that I needed advanced trainings (e.g. business engineering seminar, PRINCE 2 Certificate) I received mentoring and got them right away, so I was able to test the acquired knowledge immediately in real projects. Today, I am a junior consultant and part of a small team of consultants working for an exciting and challenging project at one of the big German banks.

What are my career aspirations?

I would like to be a senior consultant in 5-7 years and manage exciting projects in the financial services industry.
