Dariusz - Technical Project Manager

Who am I?

My name is Dariusz. I have graduated from the Military University of Technology, department of Cybernetics. I have also finished my postgraduate studies with a specialization in IT project management in 2009. Before I joined IMPAQ, I had been working intensively with Java technology and gained a broad experience in the area of internet portals and CMS systems.

Why did I join IMPAQ?

I joined IMPAQ Poland in Warsaw in 2007 because I was interested in working with Java experts and getting immersed in complex and large implementation projects using innovative technologies and frameworks such as the IBM WebSphere Portal - IMPAQ is offering all this. 

How is my experience?

In 2007 I was elected as the “Rookie of the Year” at IMPAQ Poland. In 2010 the Polish management chose me as “Employee of the Year” and my colleagues as the “Co-worker of the Year”.

In 2009 I was promoted to Team Leader of IMPAQ`s large operation and competency team, developing and building up the Java competence process. Furthermore, I gained experience as J2EE architect and project manager while managing multiple projects in the insurance sector.

What are my career aspirations?

I would like to develop my leadership and project management skills further, as I really enjoy working together with people. To broaden my knowledge, I am also planning to start postgraduate MBA studies.
