Adelina - Trainee

Who am I?

My name is Adelina, I am studying economics with a specialisation in finance & accounting at the Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany and did an internship at IMPAQ. 

Why did I join IMPAQ?

In August 2010, I joined IMPAQ Germany in Frankfurt to collect some project experience during my semester break. 

From the perspective of a student, it is very important to obtain some practical experience during the studies. Thanks to IMPAQ, I was able to achieve this. Today I am supporting the project team as working student, although my semester break is over.

How is my experience?

After a short but intensive training period in the office, I got the opportunity to support a big merger project from the very beginning. My role in the project was quite diverse. I was able to support the project management office (PMO), but was also asked do the preliminary work for the project manager.  

Through these duties, I was able to look into the essential parts of the project and get a very good overview of the course of the project. 

What are my career aspirations?

I am not exactly sure what I want to do after my Bachelor’s degree, which I will finish in 2012. However, the many positive experiences I gathered while working for IMPAQ make me want more. Thus I can certainly imagine starting to work as consultant after my graduation, gather a few years of experience and add a master’s degree.
