IMPAQ was founded in 1992 in Zurich, Switzerland by private investors.
The Langmann family has owned 100% of the IMPAQ shares since 1994, and since then IMPAQ's goal has been to “grow and invest” in order to better understand and serve clients. We have grown our staff base to 450 people across the globe, with locations in Germany, Luxembourg, Poland, Switzerland, UK and the USA.
Since 1998 the business know-how with respect to the Financial Services sector (FS) has been consistently built up: partly through acquisitions, but also by systematically advancing certain projects with clients in the FS-sector up to the development of specific solutions (kdsolutions) and platforms.
Throughout the years we have adopted new methodologies and acquired new skill sets wherever appropriate in order to better serve our clients’ needs.
IMPAQ has acquired a number of partner businesses, including parts of the Plönzke Network, R. Böker Unternehmensgruppe AG, SmartTeam AG as well as SOKOMA GmbH. All of these additions brought new dimensions and more capabilities to the organisation.
Having established a strong hold in Europe, we continue to look for growth opportunities. Most recently we have been finalizing the set up of a new subsidiary in Luxembourg that focuses on Core Banking Solutions.
