Analytical rule engine

kdprevent™`s analytical rule engine is designed to detect unusual, potentially suspicious activities of customers. It uses three major detection techniques that can be individually configured and automatically applied:

• Name, source and target matching: multi-lingual comparison of the customer database and transactions against internal and external black lists based on the most sophisticated name-matching logic;
• Application of rules: alert rules are flexibly defined and applied according to banking regulations and in line with the bank‘s internal requirements. All rules have been created by IMPAQ`s domain specialists in cooperation with external Legal & Compliance experts;
• Pattern recognition: sophisticated data analysis and data mining techniques trigger an alarm based on previously unknown but suspicious behavioural patterns such as significant deviations from a customer‘s historical behaviour.
